What is a checkout hog? def: (n) a checkout hog is the person next in line who puts one's items on the belt, then moves forward so far that the ATM/credit card swipe is totally blocked, thus preventing the privacy of the first patron who is futilely attempting to use such ATM/credit card swipe.
And the most annoying part of it is that the checkout hog acts like you are putting them out by asking them to move back so you can pay the clerk!!!!
